Meet Fae Hartt!
Fae Hartt is a queer performer based in New York City. They were raised in Northern California and moved to the city to pursue their lifelong dream of acting.
Fae studied at Mannes School of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance where they honed their musicianship and studied under Grammy-nominated opera singer Margaret Lattimore. After graduating from their Bachelor’s, Fae pursued a post-graduate Evening Conservatory program at Atlantic Acting School where they learned practical aesthetics.
As a multi-hyphenate artist, Fae takes on many roles. Currently they are stage managing “Carnival Romeo & Juliet” with 938 Collective, Grant Writing at Kitchen Sink Theater Company, Associate Producing at Fireside Theatre Co and have just finished writing and directing their first short film “all that’s left.”
Additionally Fae has performed both as a solo artist and in the band Dorian’s Room in venues such as The Maker’s Space, Purgatory, Fiction Bar/Cafe and more. They also recently acted in a queer devised theater workshop benefitting Black Trans Liberation.
Fae brings authenticity mixed with fierce discipline and professionalism. They give their heart to their every pursuit and have a wide range of interests and skills. They are most passionate about bringing stories about queer, disabled, and other marginalized groups to light.
